Into Thy loving care,
Into Thy keeping,
Thou who are everywhere,
Take us while sleeping.

Let Thine almighty arm
Closely enfold us;
Nothing can hurt or harm
Whilts Thou dost hold us.

Thro' all the deathlike night
Thy watch be given,
Bring me to morning light
Here or in heaven.
